Dr. Pederzoli awarded prestigious American Cancer Society Postdoctoral Fellowship

Filippo Pederzoli MD, PhD, a postdoctoral associate in our lab, has been awarded a Postdoctoral Fellowship from the American Cancer Society (ACS), starting in January 2025. This prestigious award supports promising early-career scientists who are working to advance our understanding and treatment of cancer. The ACS Fellowship award will provide crucial funding to support Dr. Pederzoli's research on prostate cancer and the role of the androgen receptor (AR) in the tumor microenvironment over the next three years.

The American Cancer Society's Postdoctoral Fellowship program is highly selective, supporting outstanding scientists who demonstrate the potential to become leaders in cancer research. This award recognizes both Dr. Pederzoli's exceptional research accomplishments and the promise of his ongoing work in our laboratory.
