Our latest article has been covered on UroToday

Dr. Loda discusses with Dr. Andrea K. Miyahira (Director of Global Research & Scientific Communications, The Prostate Cancer Foundation) about our latest research article on the role of the microenvironment in prostate cancer progression, published in Nature Communications.

The study focuses on the stroma's significance in prostate carcinogenesis. Utilizing mouse models and human tumors, they performed single-cell RNA sequencing to analyze stromal cells in different stages of prostate cancer. The research revealed distinct mesenchymal cell states and their interactions with epithelial and immune cells, highlighting the stroma's evolving role in cancer progression. The study also identified potential targetable interactions within the tumor microenvironment. Dr. Loda emphasizes the importance of understanding these dynamics for developing new therapeutic strategies, particularly targeting the stromal component in prostate cancer.
